Our Team

Afsana Afrose Patwary completed her LL.B. (Hon’s) degree from the London College of Legal Studies (North) and holds a postgraduate degree as a barrister from Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK. The Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn called her to the bar on 25th July 2023.

During Afsana’s LLB, she participated in the Legal Genesis Moot Court Championship, where she represented her Law School against other prominent private universities in Bangladesh. Therein, she participated as one of the speakers and was able to secure her team as the winner of the championship.

She also participated in an Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop (ITAW) where after being trained on the skill of advocacy, she was tested on her ability to make submissions and examine witnesses before the judge. The judges remarked her performance as exceptionally good and she was awarded with a
Certificate of Special Mention as well.

Afsana joined Sadat Sarwat and Associates in October 2022 and is working as an associate. Afsana excels at conducting thorough legal research and analysis, enabling her to craft compelling arguments and develop effective legal strategies.
