Md. Ekramul Haque is an Associate Lawyer and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He completed his LL.B. (Honours) degree from Islamic University, Kushtia, and subsequently obtained his LL.M. degree from the same institution. During his academic journey, he developed a strong foundation in law and pursued formal legal education with a focus on professional legal practice.
Mr. Haque enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council on 15 December 2010 and obtained permission to practice before the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 2017. He has been working as an Associate Lawyer at Barrister Asaduzzaman & Associates since July 2009. His professional work primarily involves land vetting and documentation, preparation of legal opinions on land and property matters, drafting deeds of mortgage, power of attorney, deeds of redemption, deeds of revocation, various transfer deeds, agreements, letters of undertaking, letters of hypothecation and their modification, and handling registration formalities with the Office of the Sub-Registrar. He has worked with several renowned banking and financial institutions including Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, and NCC Bank Limited.
Prior to this, Mr. Haque worked at K.M. Mohibul Alam & Associates from July 2008 to June 2009 as an Advocate, where he assisted senior lawyers in preparing cases, presenting matters before court, dealing with clients independently, vetting documents for mortgage purposes, and providing legal opinions to banks, financial institutions, and corporate bodies.
