Mrs. Sarwat Siraj, Barrister-at-Law, is an advocate at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh who has over 22 years of experience in the legal arena. Sarwat Siraj obtained her LL.B (Hon’s) degree from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom and she was called to the Bar of England and Wales from Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK.

She was an Associate at “Moudud Ahmed & Associates”, one of the most prestigious law firms in Bangladesh.

Regular appearance in all jurisdictions of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, conducts hearings in Writs, Company matters, Civil, Criminal and Admiralty Cases. Also appears before the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Sub-ordinate Courts, Administrative Tribunals, Land Appeal Tribunal and Bankruptcy Court. Take part in international commercial arbitrations both home and abroad. Sarwat Siraj worked as the legal advisor to Unocal Bangladesh Limited, Occidental of Bangladesh Limited, Smith Co-generation, Lafarge Mongla Cement, Rolls Royce Power Venture (BD) Ltd., Albert David Bangladesh Limited, China Road Bridge Corporation, Nikko Powers, Telecom Malaysia, Bangladesh Observer, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority, Islam Group, IFIC Bank Limited, Dhaka Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited.
